Price
In the Northern Virginia, DC, Maryland area most of the photographers we partner with for proposals price themselves between $300-$500. The pricing will depend on years of experience, the amount of time they spend with you during the proposal and travel.
Key Tip: Make sure they have experience with photographing a proposal. Proposals happen very quickly. You want to make sure a photographer is experienced in capturing such a quick moment.
Style
Each photographer has their own style. Some like to edit with a darker moody feel, others like to edit with a light and airy look. With most proposals you will get about 30 images, compared to a wedding where you receive hundreds of photos of your big day. Meaning your photographer should be able to give you all your edited photos back within two weeks of the event.
